It's a strange concept: Life Coaching. I am not the genie in the bottle who makes all of your wildest dreams come true. I'm rather here to help you understand this game we call Life. My outside perspective will not only identify your blind spots but provide you the appropriate strategies to overcome your obstacles.
My Journey to Coaching
Born to hard-working Portuguese immigrants, I am a first generation Portuguese-South-African. I was blessed with opportunities in a middle-class family but my self-esteem challenges faced in childhood have undoubtedly given me the empathy and compassion to teach others how to overcome limiting self-beliefs.
I married my first love at 24 and after 9 years became blessed as a mother to two incredible children . During that time I qualified as a teacher, published a children's book ‘’Gombi in Fairyland’’, is a quick prologue to my story.
I dabbled between events management and co-finding a business, eventually returning to the Information Technology sector where I enjoyed opportunities spanning a professional career over 32 years. I focused on the development and empowerment of people from all walks of life, as I fulfilled various leadership roles in marketing, training, and recruitment.
These memorable events, as well as the devastating loss of my husband to cancer 4 years ago, have brought me to this moment where I believe I am meant to be.
I am excited by the opportunity to make a significant difference in people's lives, by connecting with them and encouraging them to live a life with purpose. I aspire to inspire others to believe in the great possibilities that life offers them regardless of their circumstances and challenges. At times it’s these very challenges that allows us to reach out to others with our hearts and become the best version of ourselves.
